senTV.org is an online journalism service funded by the Ontario Seniors Community Grant. Our initiative is to produce meaningful content that delivers infotainment to keep seniors healthy, safe and active.

The Filmmaking Program of Angus Glen Older Adults Club (AGOAC) received a 6-month grant to train 15 seniors to become film journalists creating content on seniors’ related activities and broadcasting it online. This initiative encourages seniors to engage in local events.
Besides enjoying a fun time in all the day trips and group events, these seniors developed new skills to take on the roles as Field Producers, Presenters/Reporters, and Technical Crew (Camera Operators and Editors) and produced their Event Videos respectively. These senior volunteers were delighted to have the opportunity to connect, learn and contribute.
