Join Us in Supporting Older Adults Through the Power of Film & Storytelling!

The Angus Glen Older Adults Club Filmmaking Group Productions runs an on-going casting call for passionate individuals who want to participate in our community-driven film projects. Whether you are an experienced actor or looking to try something completely new, we want to hear from you!

Who Can Apply?

  • Everyone is Welcome: Absolutely anyone; all ages (children, teens, adults, and older adults) are highly encouraged to join us.
  • All Ethnicities: We celebrate diversity and aim to reflect our entire wonderful community on screen.
  • No Experience Required: You do not need professional acting experience. All we look for is enthusiasm, reliability, and a desire to volunteer and support seniors.

Project Details:

  • Type of Content: Short films, community awareness videos, educational clips, and heartwarming stories focusing on aging and older adults.
  • Timeline: On-going & Rolling. We cast dynamically as new projects and scripts are developed throughout the year.
  • Location: Various community centers and locations across Ontario / GTA.
  • Compensation: Non-Paid / Volunteer production. (Perfect for gaining on-camera experience, building a portfolio, community service hours, or simply giving back to a great cause!)

Because this is an ongoing call, we accept submissions year-round. When a role becomes available that matches your profile, our production team will reach out to you!
